Gourmet Bites is an award – winning bakery and speciality food producer run by proprietor Alison Dunne.

As a City & Guilds trained chef, and with over 30 years experience in catering including running two of her own restaurants, Alison moved into food production several years ago. Selling initially on farmer’s markets around the Midlands, the business quickly gained a reputation for its creative and innovative approach to food, not to mention the consistently high quality of its produce.

Noted particularly for its own recipe speciality breads, fresh fruit pies, cakes, luxury flapjack tray bakes and soups Gourmet Bites won four Great Taste Awards – two gold, silver and a bronze – for its speciality breads in 2006.

Sourcing locally whenever possible, including from its own back yard where fruit and vegetables are grown, Gourmet Bites continues to develop its range. Alongside farmer’s markets and specialist food events we now supply amongst others, Asda, Waitrose and Nisa Todays.
