Shiny Things

Shiny Things

Welcome to Shiny Things – a website full of, well, shiny things! Set up in 2008, we are a 'two woman' enterprise making and selling jewellery at affordable prices.
We get our beads from many different places; lava from Lanzarote, coral from Florida, Murano glass from Venice, Czech glass from Prague - whenever we go on holiday we always end up buying beads by the case load! When we're not sunning ourselves on holiday we make beads and pendants at home from Polymer Clay.
We also love giving old jewellery a new lease of life. It's wonderful to see something old and full of character and history become a modern piece of jewellery to be worn and enjoyed by a new generation.
All our pieces are unique so you can rest assured that you won’t see these on the high street or on anyone else at that Christmas party for that matter!
We pride ourselves in being able to make an item of jewellery to match an outfit or for a special occasion at very reasonable prices. Earrings and most bracelets are £5, necklaces start at just £10 and tiaras from £40.
All of our clasps and fasteners are silver plated, however we can substitute these for gold plated or sterling silver for a small extra cost.
The photographs on this site are just a small selection of the beautiful items that we are able to make. Please get in touch if you can't see what you're looking for or would like something made to order.
Our jewellery makes the perfect birthday present, the perfect “you’re my best friend” present,
or what the heck why not just treat your self - you know you deserve it!
