Park Hill Farm





Park Hill Farm is a family farm owned by Patsy and her husband, John Pimlott. Both the Darlington's and Pimlott's have very long traditions of farming, with both families originating in Cheshire, and moving to next door farms in Shropshire in the 1950's.
At Park Hill Farm the old farming traditions of producing slowly maturing beef cattle, and the love of horses (which both families once used to work the land) have been combined with the farm diversifying into supplying sumptuous beef direct to the public through the Park Hill Farm retail shop and Farmers' Markets.


The Farm is unique – it sells only beef that has been born and bred at Park Hill – guaranteeing 100% traceability, 100% of the time. We offer excellent choice for families or individuals wishing to buy beef that is tasty and tender, with a free (local) home telephone ordering and delivery service being offered to all our customers. For your convenience we also offer credit/debit card facilities.



The shop offers the choice of individual items, such as half a kilo of mince, one steak, or one beef burger, as well as our famous family “Farmer’s Weekender” and “Poacher’s Supper” boxes. These offer excellent value for money, by giving a discount for quantity.

We pride ourselves on old fashioned customer service, and farming in harmony with nature. Below we have highlighted six reasons that show our commitment to providing the “QUALITY THAT TASTES” that sets us apart from other farm shops.



The traditionally reared English prime beef, gives a "QUALITY THAT TASTES", because we keep to the "old" standards of non-factory farming and feed non-genetically modified corn . Each animal is treated as an individual, allowed to be "free range" by grazing on long established grass pastures as long as the weather allows, and matures slowly.
. Being a family concern, this enables us to offer you a very personal service, so that you can order and enjoy our beef, knowing that "QUALITY TASTE" will be repeated order after order.
We think it is important to handle cattle quietly and to keep stress levels to a minimum, as this is well known to enhance the eating quality of the meat. All meat will be hung for a minimum of 10 days, which will give it a darker colour with added flavour and tenderness.
The farm office is only staffed by Patsy and John themselves, which ensures all details are carefully recorded, and questions about the farm, and or meat, can be answered authoritatively.

The overall pack sizes are listed, but each pack is made to order following a discussion on the telephone with the person ordering the meat. To ensure the freshness of the meat, orders are batched together before the beef animals are sent to the butcher.
